                    Reading book is a good habit. The practice of  reading book  improves thinking skills, creativity and imagination. Reading book increases focus and concentration. There is  a proverb saying "Knowledge is power" books gains us knowledge.
              Kids love to read story books, adventurous books, fairy tales,moral story books etc. They have fun while reading. Kids love to do different kinds of bookmark.
                     Kids have fun while doing bookmark. Making Bookmark encourage kids to read the book.
           Creation of new craft or any drawing by kids will give them sense of accomplishment and sense of satisfaction, Which in turn helps to build their self confidence.
           
Steps to do easy bookmark

1. Take 21cm x 21cm size paper

2.Fold diagonally

3.Tilt the paper in diamond shape and fold downwards.

4.Fold one corner of the paper to the middle.

5.Fold the opposite corner  to the middle

6. Now fold the paper in the middle

7.Now the folded paper will look like this.

8.With holding centre part, fold one side downwards.

9.Fold the other side downwards.

10. Now turn the paper to other side

11. Now , it will look like this

12. Insert one part into the triangle shaped cone.

13.Insert the other part also in to the triangle shaped cone

14. Now,  bring two ends of the triangle to the centre.

15.Bookmark is ready.

GARDENING

                    Gardening is an art. Gardening relieves us from stress and depression. The colour Green  refers to prosperity. Making gardening as our habit gives  prosperity to our life.  Gardening requires patience and hope.

         In this post , Iam sharing the pictures of my home garden.
           
                     Iam a beginner to gardening, before starting gardening I had a thought that people who have the gardeneing skill can only do , but later I realised learning of new things and practising it regularly makes us better.  I learned gardening and started doing .
               
                     First we started with the seeds of tomato.  we sowed the seeds and watered daily. Kids used to water it daily. Daily we notice, is there any growth. Kids became very happy when they saw the seedling grows. Day by Day growth of the plant gave us happiness.  We also sowed the seeds of  Lady's finger, beetroot,  basil, and planted strawberry.
           

Day by day growth of the plant encouraged us to plant more and  take extra care of the plants-

Lessons I learned in gardening,  Seeds have all potential inside it, when it nurtured with proper care it will start grow , likewise we also have all the potential inside us, when we nurture us by learning new things daily, developing positive thoughts, removing negative thoughts like removing unwanted weeds in the garden and having the patience and hope by saying  ' Better days are coming '

we also grow like seed day by day and reach greater heights in our life.

UNICORN ENVELOPE

UNICORN ENVELOPE

                         Envelope is very special to 80's kids. In those days , we get annual exam results through the envelope, Opening the envelope and seeing the message " You are promoted to next grade" gives us happiness which cannot be explained in words.  we can surprise others with our sweet message written inside the envelope.

In this post, Iam sharing how to do unicorn envelope.

Things needed.

• One A4 sheet paper
• scissor
• crayons

Steps to do

                                                    1.Fold diagonally

2. Cut the unfolded part, to form a square

3.Now we have two parts, one part we will do the envelope and other part we will do unicorn horn

4.Fold the square shaped paper diagonally

5.Now tilt the square shaped paper in to diamond shape and fold it.

6.Bring one end of paper downwards and fold it

7.Fold the other end downwards

8.Fold two sides and insert one to another

9.Now envelope is ready.cut unicorn horn in other part of the paper

10.Stabler the unicorn horn

11.Draw the unicorn eyes

12.unicorn envelope is ready. Now its time to put our message in to envelope  and surprise others.

Library

 Library
              Library is the place of knowledge. Books are the source of inspiration. Reading books helps us to improve our creativity skills, and build our Self- confidence.
 Hi friends,
                In this post,  Iam sharing the pictures of the library in sweden.

          In library,   they have separate place for indoor games like chess, checkers etc. kids like to play chess .
   

They conduct craft activities for kids during sports holidays and Summer holidays. Kids like to do craft activities and painting with the craft material provided by them.

Craft project model kept near the entrance of the library for display. On seeing the craft model kids will start to do the craft with the help of glue, paint, craft materials, provided by library.

Final outcome of the craft project.

There is a separate place for drawing. kids have fun with drawing and colouring with crayons

Fancy dresses like Elsa and anna dress, doctor dress, astronaut dress available in the library. Kids used to wear the dresses and have fun.

Hi Friends,
  In this post, I am sharing  fun cooking  with  my kids.

Recipe name : Manchurian balls

Ingredients needed

• Carrot-1
• Capsicum-1
• Onion-1
• Garlic-5 nos
• Ginger- Small piece grated
• Corn flour - 1 spoon
• Salt - as required

STEPS

• In a bowl, add grated carrot
• Add capsicum
• Add onion
• Add Garlic and Ginger 
• Add One spoon corn flour
• Add salt to taste
• Add little water, if needed.
• Mix well, make it in to balls and fry it.
• Now delicious Manchurian balls is  ready to serve with yummy ketchup

Unicorn book

                                                        

 STEPS                                                     

1.Fold the A4 sheet to form square and cut it.

2.Now Place the A4 sheet paper above the notebook

3.Stabler the corner of the A4 sheet paper

4 Now draw the unicorn eyes and colour it

5.Draw the unicorn mouth and colour it

6.In the rest of the paper , cut the unicorn horns and ears. Colour it

7.Now place the unicorn horns and ears and stabler it.

8.Unicorn notebook is ready..
